I love that you actually sit and contemplate so many different aspects of raising Lilly. I think you are an amazing mother, and Lilly is going to be a wonderful person because of that. <3Jamiehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11429416637666802836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-642823518951128384.post-39943143294261032112011-12-14T22:27:09.295-05:002011-12-14T22:27:09.295-05:00I 100% agree with you, I mean with me growing up w...I 100% agree with you, I mean with me growing up we were always on welfare (when we lived with our dad and step mom) so christmas was more of a shameful time because all the kids around us got all the greatest and latest thing. We were lucky to get anything at all. Then when I got older and became a believer I was confused with christmas, its taking forever for my heart to catch up with my head as to why we celebrate christmas the way we do. Its easier for me to be over the moon for Easter than Christmas.

But Judah won't get a billion gifts, although my love language is gifts and I love to give them. But I don't want to spoil him and have him think that Christmas is just all about only gifts.

Hopefully I raise him right in this, Im thinking of starting a tradition of giving away a big chunk of his toys/gifts ect maybe in November a month before Christmas (and his birthday that is in december)Jessica West Judkinshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/02546056836938625454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-642823518951128384.post-60614561344333121242011-12-12T11:16:14.027-05:002011-12-12T11:16:14.027-05:00that is one awesome tent!our problem doesn't l...that is one awesome tent!

our problem doesn't lie in what WE get our kids, but what our relatives do. my mom tends to go overboard with the kids, and there has been more than one occasion that we couldn't put everything in the back or our element when it was time to go home.deanna@delirious-rhapsodyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11510367852834677697noreply@blogger.com
